Guerlain: Skincare with Bee Science

Leaving summer and entering fall, our skin needs more nutrients to keep at its healthy balance. Using a hydration focused essence is not enough for me. I have switched to the Guerlain Double R Renew & Repair serum from the Abeille Royale family to nourish my skin. The Abeille Royale collection is not a stranger. The gel mask and day cream had helped to soothes and repair my skin in the dry and cold New York winter. As it’s approaching fall time in Taiwan (and the temperature lowers sooner than expected), I trust these products to keep my skin healthy and glowy.

In Abeille Royale collection, the products are enriched with ingredients, Royal Jelly and Black Bee Honey from the Island of Ouessant. Guerlain sources the honey and hive ingredients Ouessant, a Greek island. In this parasite free ecosystem, the scientists finds Ouessant honey has the highest level of amino acids and fructose content (good stuff to your skin).

Enriched with a sweet and warm honey scent, I also love the chic and luxurious golden bottle design, which stands beautifully on my powder desk. This serum offers a pleasant sensory experience from the moment it stands on your vanity desk until after you’ve applied it to your face. Pores are visibly smoother. Skin feels hydrated and GLOWY.

Could a serum renew and repair the skin at the same time? I think it does what it says.

First use of the serum, my skin was refreshed, brighter, and more plumped. The lifting formula helps to reduce the appearance of pores. On my normal-to-oily skin, the boost of nutrients helps to keep a healthy balance between water and oil. My skin looks more radiant (not greasy). After using the serum, day cream and gel mask from the AR collection each product provides a consistent repairing and lifting benefits.
